Focusing on themes such as discovery, logic, vengeance, business ethics and more, various writers use characters and concepts from Star Trek to explain and evaluate the theories of Kant, Nietzsche and the like.

A quite heavy read compared to other books in the popular culture and philosophy series. Perhaps the sheer breadth and depth of the Star Trek universe allows for greater exploration of the philosophic concepts. Star Trek having such a vast number of episodes, series, movies and characters to explore.

Star Trek and Philosophy is entertaining, thought provoking, witty, intelligent and fascinating. Definitely one for the Trekkies and Trekkers who want to delve a little deeper into the final frontier.
