Cliff Secord is a trouble making, down on his luck stunt pilot struggling to make ends meet. To make matters worse, he is trying to pry his pin-up girlfriend's attentions away from Tinsel Town photographer 'Marco of Hollywood' who promises to make her a star.

When two strange men on the run from the law stash a top secret device into his plane before being caught by the police, Cliff's life and fortunes are changed forever. With the help of his buddy Peevy, Cliff becomes The Rocketeer.

Set in the 1930s, with a pulp, noir meets art deco style, Stevens creates an iconic story, look and character in The Rocketeer. A charming celebration of the masked heroes such as The Phantom, The Shadow and The Spirit. A welcome addition to the genre, blast off on the action adventure roller coaster which is The Rocketeer.
