Not usually the type of book I would review here, however since I was involved in the project I'll break the rules.

Down In The Basement is a side project I've been working on with a friend of mine who runs a commission painting business (The Sound of Machines), focusing predominately on miniature modals for tabletop war-gaming. As his business has grown over the years, we decided a showcase book would be a great way to have some fun and celebrate some of the great work he's accomplished.

The end result of a year's worth of writing, photographing, designing and re-designing is a 200+ colour coffee table book filled with great pictures and some words of wisdom for miniature painting hobby enthusiasts.

The book can be found in the Blurb Hack Shop and is available in hardcover or as an eBook from our friends at Blurb of course. Please take a few minutes to check it out!
