Romeo and Juliet in a galaxy far, far away best describes this science fantasy fugitive space odyssey.

Following their hearts against all common sense, protocol and the law, Marko of Wreath and Alana of Landfall desert the endless war between their worlds in search of freedom, peace and safety for their new born child. Authorities from both side agree on one thing, this interracial family must be made an example of before they inspire others. With bounty hunters, royalty, reporters and ex-lovers all behind them, the young family find friends and face foes as they race past a war torn backdrop.

Vaughan's adventure is set in a rich and fantastical violent universe filled with both strange and beautiful creatures. His trademark depth of character and witty black humour are found in each and every panel while Fiona Staples delivers intense colour, contrast and dynamic artwork
